About Us

Our entire family has competed in various rodeo events from rough stock to barrel racing. Our daughter recently purchased a horse that either "rims" the second barrel or takes it down-HARD. She showed us her left shin one day and we couldn't believe the swelling and bruising. It had started to affect the way she rode to the second barrel. She was pulling her horse off of it and ended up coming out wide and losing a lot of time. We asked her why she refused to wear shin guards and she told us that they are too bulky and she looks like a hockey player in them. We couldn't believe that she would sacrifice her time and her shins because of the look of standard shin guards. I made the first pair of Can Bangers for her and put a flame design on them to match the polo wraps she uses on her horse. She hit a barrel with them on and didn't even know it. Other barrel racers began asking her about her shin guards and we realized that she is not alone in her feelings about the look of the old standard shin guard. We decided to start making Can Bangers for everyone. Save your shins and stop worrying about hitting a barrel. Ride to win!
